I have over thirty-five years of Personal injury and insurance litigation dispute experience, including fifteen years as an insurance claims examiner and adjuster, ten years as a Plaintiff’s Personal Injury attorney, and another ten years as a litigator in General Practice in Punta Gorda. I have successfully negotiated thousands of disputes, and as an experienced litigator, I am always aware of how important time is to both counsel and clients. Also, having worked as both Plaintiff’s counsel and as an insurance company examiner, I understand disputes from both sides.

Over the last five years as a Florida Certified Circuit Court Mediator, I have successfully helped many attorneys and their clients achieve settlements in Personal Injury and insurance/property law cases, contract disputes, probate and trust dispute matters. I enjoy conducting mediation, and it shows through a solution-based approach while conducting mediation in a relaxed and informal manner.

I am experienced with conducting Zoom mediations and am happy to conduct mediations in that medium, but I have and will travel for any mediation where the parties think an in-person session is in the best interest of resolution. As a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family mediator, I have helped resolve a variety of family dispute issues, mostly involving child custody and support as well as marital property distributions. I have successfully worked with many family and domestic relations attorneys in southwest Florida, securing final resolutions for the families that allow them and their children to avoid the uncertainty of trial.

My experience included the conducting of hundreds of family mediations. With this experience comes the knowledge of how to quickly determine the key issues to the parties and focus on the major issues first. I also do not waste time, which is important to both mediation participants and their attorneys.
